Both Trump and DeSantis Now Under Criminal Investigation
The MAGA-GOP 2024 Presidential front-runners are now BOTH running from the law...
It’s no secret that Donald Trump has been running from multiple ongoing investigations into wrong-doing. Highlights include income tax issues prior to becoming President, stealing government documents after he was no longer President, and of course, his unprecedented attempt to stay in power through a violent coup against the government. All of these investigations (and more) are ongoing and include multiple layers of criminal activity being investigated (with indictments likely forthcoming). Now, he is joined by Florida Governor (and fellow MAGA-Republican presidential aspirant) Ron DeSantis, thanks to the initial efforts of Javier Salazar, the sheriff of Bexar County, who charged that “a Venezuelan migrant was paid a bird-dog fee to recruit 50 migrants who were then were lured — and I will use the word 'lured' under false pretenses — to staying in a hotel for a few days, then taken to an airplane where they were flown to Florida and then Martha's Vineyard under false pretenses of being offered jobs…For what we can gather, a little more than a photo op, a video op, and then they were left there." Salazar called for a federal investigation of DeSantis, pointing out that the migrants, who were awaiting scheduled asylum hearings “are in the U.S. legally and that they have every right to walk around free and not be preyed upon or lured into a situation that they did not choose to be in.” The call for a federal investigation was soon echoed by California Governor Gavin Newsom, who sent a letter to the Department of Justice to investigate the Texas and Florida governors.
Donald Trump, and 3 of his children sued for business fraud by New York AG
New York Attorney General Letitia James filed a lawsuit today, accusing former president Donald Trump, three of his grown children and executives at his company of flagrantly manipulating property valuations to deceive lenders, insurance brokers and tax authorities into giving them better rates on bank loans and insurance policies and to reduce their tax liability. As reported by The Washington Post, the suit asks the New York Supreme Court to “bar Trump, as well as Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump and Eric Trump, from serving as executives at any company in New York, and to bar the Trump Organization from acquiring any commercial real estate or receiving loans from any New York-registered financial institution for five years.” The suit, which alleges “massive fraud,” also “seeks to recover more than $250 million in what NY Attorney General Letitia James’ office says are “ill-gotten gains received through the alleged deceptive practices.” As reported by VICE, the lawsuit is the result of a three-year probe of Trump’s business practices, during which Trump was personally hauled in for a deposition and forced to invoke his Fifth Amendment right against self incrimination hundreds of times—a move he once said was only for guilty people and the mob. James has referred possible violations of federal law to the Justice Department and the IRS.

‘Special Master’ Chastises Trump's Legal Team With Now-Viral 'Cake' Comment
If Donald Trump thought the special master assigned to review records seized during an an FBI search of Mar-a-Lago last month would do him some special favors, he was mistaken. As reported by Huffington Post, Federal Judge Raymond Dearie, who was appointed as “Special Master” to review the scores of government documents taken by Trump to his Mar-A-Lago lair, “repeatedly chided the former president’s lawyers for refusing to provide evidence to back up Trump’s claim that all those highly sensitive documents related to national security that were discovered in his Florida residence and private club were actually declassified.” Dearie told Trump’s lawyers on Tuesday that if they will not actually assert that the records have been declassified and if the Justice Department makes an acceptable case that they remain classified, then “as far as I’m concerned, that’s the end of it.” “You can’t have your cake and eat it,” is how Dearie summed up his position. Perhaps more consequential, Trump’s attorneys had originally asked that Dearie’s review be completed by late November (after the mid-term elections). Instead, Dearie concluded that his review could be finished by October 7th, a month before the election. Trump’s team has objected, of course. A decision by the presiding judge is forthcoming…

What to do about candidates who won't commit to election results
We’ve been reading a lot about this recently. Literally dozens of MAGA-Republican candidates for office across the country will not commit to the results of the mid-term elections, in case they lose. Beyond Meat suspends operating chief after arrest for allegedly biting man’s nose
Beyond Meat, a leading manufacturer of non-beef meat alternatives, said its operating chief Doug Ramsey has been suspended, effective immediately, after he was arrested Saturday evening for allegedly punching a man and biting his nose. As reported by CNBC, Ramsey, 53, was charged with “terroristic threatening and third-degree battery” after allegedly assaulting a driver in a parking garage near Razorback Stadium. Ramsey allegedly “punched through the back windshield of a Subaru after it made contact with the front tire of Ramsey’s car,” according to a preliminary police report obtained by CNBC. The Subaru owner then got out of his car, and Ramsey allegedly started punching him and bit his nose, “ripping the flesh on the tip of the nose,” according to the report. The victim and a witness also alleged that Ramsey told the Subaru owner he would kill him. Nice guy…
The eerie salute people are doing at Trump rallies now
Saturday night, as Donald Trump was wrapping up a political rally in Youngstown, Ohio, one section of the crowd all raised their arms in the air and extended one finger. As reported by VICE, the strange salute came as Trump was “once again spreading lies and disinformation about the 2020 election and the FBI search on his Mar-a-Lago home.” The signal was immediately compared to the “Sieg Heil” salute used by Nazi party members to greet Hitler. Some also said it was in reference to Trump’s “America First” motto. Michael Protzman, the QAnon cult leader who predicted that JFK would be resurrected, wrote in his Telegram channel. “…we had a powerful moment where our group held up one finger. A call for unity. Acknowledgement of our one GOD. Wwg1wga. And more. It was magical and completely unplanned as many in the crowd joined us in this gesture. A gesture to say to this beautiful man, ‘We're with you.’” We’ll see if the QAnon following will follow this “beautiful man” to prison, in the event that even a smattering of the criminal charges against him stick…
