The name Cheney has never been synonymous with left-leaning ideology, but as Reich points out, she has transcended political parties and established herself as a pilar of integrity when it comes to the defense of our democracy. It started with her role as co-Chair of the House committee investigating the events of January 6th, and she was ostracized from the Republican Party as a result. We need Democrats with the strategy chops that Cheney is delivering. I hope they are listening.

I don’t really care who wrote this, but it is bang on. It’s a shame. Liz was so ostracized by her own party. Otherwise, I would support her on a ticket for the next president.
